Live Event FAQs

Where can I check to see if I'm registered?

You can check online.

How do I update my registration info?

All changes to your registration, besides the runner’s name, can be made free of charge. Simply log in to your Enmotive account to change it. Instructions on accessing/creating your account.

Can I transfer my registration (bib) to another person?

To Transfer Your Registration to Another Runner:

  1. The original runner must log into their Enmotive account and scroll down to find their existing race registration under “Current and Upcoming Events.”
  2. Click the blue “Actions” button to the right of the race name, and then “Transfer Registration.”
  3. Enter the new runner’s email address to begin the transfer process.
  4. The new runner will then receive an email from Enmotive with a link to complete the transfer.
  5. After clicking the transfer link in the Enmotive email, scroll down to click the green “Accept transfer” button.
  6. Complete the registration process, and pay the $10 transfer fee.
  7. Once completed, the new runner will receive an email confirmation, and the original runner will receive an email confirming their registration has been cancelled.

If the transaction is not completed by the new runner within 48 hours of the email sent, the transfer request is cancelled, and the registration will remain in the original runner’s name.

Can I move up or down a category?
Yes, you may elect to drop down from the full marathon, but you won’t get a refund for the price difference. Email info@locomarathon.com to switch your registration.
Can I transfer to another race?

Yes! To transfer your entry to another Ventures Endurance event, simply follow these steps:

  1. Log into your Enmotive account and scroll down to find your race registration under “Current and Upcoming Events.”
  2. Click the blue “Actions” button to the right of the race name, and then “Defer to Another Event.”
  3. Locate your desired event location in the dropdown menu, then click ‘Search.’
  4. From there, click your desired race category, then follow the onscreen prompts. Once you complete payment, you’re all set and your new registration will appear in your account!

All event transfers incur a $10 fee plus the cost difference of the new race category you choose. If your new event category is cheaper than your current category, you will not be refunded the difference in cost.

Can I get a refund if I register but don't run?
All sales are final. No refunds will be given, unless you are registered for a live race and the live race is cancelled by the event organizer due to COVID-19 or any of its variants (the “Pandemic”) and/or governmental restrictions put in place as a result of or in connection with the Pandemic which make the live race unfeasible or impractical to run, in which case refunds will be given in accordance with the below. A date or venue change is not a cancellation.
Can I register on race day?
In the unlikely event that the race isn’t sold out, you can still register online up until packet pickup ends on race day.
Are the roads closed for this race?
The roads are NOT closed for this race. We have police and race marshals at all corners, but please be aware of traffic on the course. We put a lane of cones for the runners in high-traffic areas. Please stay within the cones for your own safety.
Will ID be required to pick up my bib?

Yes, but only for the full marathon runners. Since this race serves as a Boston qualifier, we need to ensure that only the participant running the race can pick up their bib. This does not apply to the half marathon runners.

When is packet pickup?
Early packet pickup is available on Saturday, 10/21/2023 at the Great Bay Athletic Club from 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM. Day of packet pickup will be available from 6:00 AM – 7:45 AM at the Rockingham Ballroom. We suggest arriving no later than 6:45 AM to ensure you have time to park, pick up your bib, and get to the starting line before 8:00 AM.
Can I run with my dog or baby stroller?

Unfortunately, no. There will be too many runners to add dogs and strollers into the mix.

Can I run with headphones?
We discourage the use of headphones on the course because with them in, it’s harder for you to hear the race marshals and incoming traffic.
Will there be pacers?
Yes, we are happy to be partnering with Beast Pacing for this year’s event! We will be offering the following pace groups:

Half Marathon: 1:40, 1:50, 2:00, 2:15, 2:45

Runners must be at least 16 years of age or older to run in the full or half marathon. There is no age limit for the 5k.
Is there a time limit?

What about GPS course measurements?
The course is certified and accurate according to USATF standards. However your GPS measurement of the course is bound to be different and will most likely show the distance covered to be “long.” This is normal, and here’s a very technical explanation why: In GPS We Trust.
